The New York-Washington Missionary Society is comprised of the missionary membership from 47 local churches. The Society spans an area from Massachusetts to Virginia, and is a part of the New York -Washington Region of the 7th Episcopal District. The 7th Episcopal District is led by Bishop James B. Walker, who is also the Patron Bishop of the Women’s Missionary Council.
The New York-Washington Missionary Society strives to positively touch lives and create change throughout its constituency, while supporting the mission and vision of the CME Women’s Missionary Council.
The current President of the NY-Washington Region Missionary Society is Ms. Sandra Renee Chambers.
